Ruva is a small app made by one person. Here’s how to get help — and how to handle the things you might want to do yourself, right now.
1 Contact us
Email linusnicolau@protonmail.com for anything — a bug, a question, a request. You’ll get a human reply, usually within a couple of days.
2 Delete your account
You can delete your account and all its data from inside Ruva: open the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your profile, your couple, and everything the two of you created together (reveals, memories, weather, presence, stories, date ideas). It can’t be undone. If you can’t open the app, email us and we’ll delete it for you from the address you signed in with.
3 Export your data
You can download everything you and your partner made in Ruva as a single file: Settings → Account → Export my data. It includes your text answers, voice notes, and photos. Do this before deleting your account if you want to keep anything.
4 Subscriptions and refunds
Ruva Premium is a monthly, annual, or lifetime subscription billed through Apple. Only one of you needs to subscribe — premium is shared with your partner. To view, change, or cancel a subscription, use your iPhone’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple: go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
5 Pairing with your partner
To share Ruva, one of you taps Invite my partner in the app and sends the link or code. The other opens the link (it opens Ruva directly) or enters the code under Join with a code. If a code isn’t working, double-check the six characters — they’re case-insensitive — and make sure neither of you is already paired to someone else.
6 Notifications
Ruva sends gentle notifications when your partner does something (a reveal answer, a quiet presence, a new memory). You can fine-tune each kind under Settings → Notifications. No notifications in the app? Check that notifications are allowed for Ruva in your iPhone’s Settings and that you’re paired.
7 Privacy and terms
Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use explain what we collect and the rules of using Ruva.
